Create And Configure An Event

Create The Event

1. Go to Organizer Hub → Create.
2. Enter name, dates, city, and basics.
3. Confirm the event appears on your hub.

Configure Setup Tabs

Work through Event Settings in order:

1. Core settings — limits, application windows, defaults
2. Categories and scoring — levels, styles, ages, rubric
3. Pricing and ticketing — only enable online collection when billing is ready
4. Public tab — branding and what parents will see

Operations Backbone

1. Add venues before you schedule sessions.
2. Assign judges and confirm they can open the judge portal.
3. Approve studios, then check dancer and routine quality.

Launch Ready

1. Build schedule blocks without overlapping the same judge or venue.
2. Publish program and standings only after a quick QA pass.
3. Go live when public pages are ready.

Checklist

• Setup tabs complete (no placeholders)
• At least one venue, judge, approved studio, and routine
• Public visibility matches your launch timing
